Rare complete standing female ancestor figure in classic pose with painted necklace carved in low relief, earrings, bracelets,
and wearing a square headdress. There are glass pieces inserted into the eyes.

The figure has a longer tenon below the main part of the statue that fits originally fit into the altar in the traditional house.
When this was mounted for display, a special wood stand was made so the tenon fits into a slot at the top, so you do not see this part of the statue.
That adds another 4.5" (11.4 cm) to the actual length of the statue. When these photos were taken, the photographer removed the stand from the photos
which also removed the tenon from view. Included are two photos of the piece, one on the black stand and another just outside the stand that shows the tenon.
