This was originally described as a sewing kit, but it could have also been used to hold grooming implements.
The main bag (measurements above) held three additional bags or pouches.
One purse like pouch held unknown items, with a slot for a small knife or file?
Another half circle-shaped pouch likely held a mirror. The smallest pouch held a pair of scissors.
All are finely embroidered with thinly wrapped metal threads and silk details, and lined with cotton cloth.
