Top of a sacrificial post with a tiger figure battling a serpent. The tiger is grasping the snake around its neck and holding its body with his feet.
Posts of this type, with a tiger figure at the top, were usually associated with ritual sacrifice, often when preparing for war or headhunting raids,
or during ceremonias honoring the death of an important village noble.
