Wood, pigments. H: 24.5" (62.2 cm), W: 12" (30.5 cm), D: 14" (35.6 cm). 19th to early 20th century.
Guardian figure in the form of a Winged Lion, holding a branch in its mouth.
The notch in the back behind the wings, indicates it held a support post for a temple platform or altar.
There is a small broken area in lower back of the base and the tail is missing.
