Rattan, wood, seed beads, beads, metal bells. L: 14.75" (37.5 cm), W: 17" (43.2 cm), D: 7" (17.8 cm).
Decorated beaded panel, with opposing dragon (Aso) motifs in the center and two ancestral spirit faces, one in each upper corner.
The beaded panel is considered a talismanic amulet with protectiive motifs that is meant to protect the "sacred bundle" and denotes the statue of the family.
Motifs of dragons, hornbills, ancestral figures, and other important figures are reserved for the highest caste noble families.
