Lembata Village

Iban Dayak, Sarawak, Borneo Islands, mother and child

Approaching Lembata Island, dominated by huge volcano.
Official welcome from the village of Lamalera, our first stop. We all were invited to smoke tobacco, chew betel nut, and drink some local made alcohol.
Local musicians play for their guests.

Then some dancing.

 

Other villagers enjoy the show put on for the foreign guests.
